Base4 is proud to be supporting the Cambridge Half Marathon as its Sustainability Partner for 2019. The event has established itself as one of the UK’s biggest and most beautiful closed road Half Marathons, this year taking place on 3 March 2019, starting from Midsummer Common in Cambridge.
In its role as Sustainability Partner, Base4 is taking strides to ensure the event is high energy but with low environmental impact. Base4 is leading the field with its unique technology for sequencing single molecules of DNA – and we want YOU to join us.
We have a handful of FREE race tickets available (on a first-come, first-served basis) to fellow Scientists, Engineers, Software Developers and others in the Cambridge bioscience/biotechnology space. No strings attached, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP to snap up this offer before 31st January.
Cameron Frayling, Founder and CEO of Base4, said:
“When the Base4 team isn’t developing state-of-the-art single-molecule DNA sequencing technology, we can be found in the great outdoors, enjoying a range of sporting pursuits. The opportunity to sponsor such an established, fun and well organised event as the Cambridge Half Marathon felt like a great fit for us. We look forward to joining everyone in the runner’s pen on 3 March.”
